These Ethiopian silver prayer box pendants were traditionally worn by Ethiopian Orthodox Christians to ward off the evil eye. The telsum hangs on an 18 inch black leather cord finished with sterling components.
We have not polished this vintage piece, it is just how we found it in Ethiopia.
